"From a very early age, I have always been into one form of art or another. My first influence was my father who encouraged me to sketch and paint when I was as young as four. My mother was the one who would sew and make teddy bears so I was very lucky I guess!
As time passed, my passion for all things mythical and magical grew and I would sketch the creatures and beings that filled up my buzzing imagination. Now inspired by such wonderful artists as Brian and Wendy Froud, Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell, Arthur Rackham. Life inspires me. Each day I look forward to my next creation.
It wasn't until March 2003 when I found polymer clay that I even knew I could sculpt. Until then all my artwork was two dimensional. Sculpting has become my life and is now my full time occupation. I work from home in my wonderful studio surrounded by beautiful countryside. I have so much to learn and am always trying out new clays and techniques and hope the energy I transfer into each and every new piece is 'felt' by it's new owner."
Here is where I work...
